Teaching Artist

Emotions was born in Trinidad and Tobago and moved to Brooklyn, New York at four years old. Her main dance style is flexn, but she practices other dance styles like Afro Beat, Contemporary and moreDancing runs in her family so she was dancing since she could walk. In her words “dancing is my first love, the first thing to make me happy”. Besides dance Emotions loves to write poetry and express herself. Her achievements are making people smile, relating to people through dance, and building the confidence to be expressive. Emotions is a two time winner of Queen of the Streets and has been featured in a GoPro and Aeropostale Commercial. Through the Flex Dance Program She obtained a certificate in mentorship in ITM at the New School and has worked with us as a dancer, performer and rotating teacher.
