Help Us Unlock $10,000 for Brooklyn Youth
FDP is a dance mentoring program for youth in and out of detention promoting self esteem and communication through dance and music.
FDP offers workshops, events, international collaborations, weekly drop in classes, and more!
We’re excited to share an incredible opportunity—and we need your help to make the most of it.
FDP has been awarded a $10,000 matching grant from BKO to expand our work in Brooklyn. This means that every dollar we raise will be matched, dollar-for-dollar, up to $10,000. With your support, we can unlock the full amount and double the resources available to deepen our impact in the communities we serve.
This funding will allow us to:
- Reach more youth with transformative programming that builds skills, confidence, and opportunity
- Hire and support more teaching artists and mentors, creating meaningful employment while enriching our programs
- Provide incentives for youth hosts, empowering young leaders to take ownership in their communities
- Host more community events across Brooklyn, bringing people together and strengthening local connections.
Every contribution—no matter the size—moves us closer to unlocking these critical funds. Your support isn’t just a donation; it’s an investment in young people, creativity, and community growth. Will you help us meet our $10,000 goal and maximize this matching opportunity?
